POLICE investigating the disappearance of a 77-year-old man have found a body in Allerton.
James Telford, who had dementia, was first reported missing from his Bradford home since 5pm on Sunday, February 16.
Appeals were shared widely on social media as units desperately searched for the pensioner.
Enquiries are continuing into the circumstances around his death.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police investigating the disappearance of James Telford have this afternoon found a body of a male at an address in Allerton.
"Enquiries are continuing to establish the identity of this male and the circumstances around his death.
"Mr Telford’s family have been informed."
