THE newly named Bobbin Carrier, previously the Silver Birch, in Cleckheaton has officially re-opened with a new look after a refurbishment by Marston’s.
After closing its doors on the January 27, the pub has undergone a complete overhaul, creating over 10 new jobs.
For the Bobbin Carrier, this refurbishment has meant brand new décor, both internal and external, and also a brand-new manager, Bradley Fisher, who has over 10 years’ experience in the pub and hospitality industry.
There is a new bar and sports area with a full-sized pool table and darts board. The pub has also welcomed a brand-new children’s indoor cinema, which will have a daily showing of classic Disney films, and function room.
Bradley said: “Taking on the Bobbin Carrier is a new chapter for me and hopefully the local area."
