A Bradford man aged 27 is behind bars awaiting a long prison sentence for raping and sexually assaulting a boy.
Adam Wager, of Colyton Mount, Allerton, was remanded in custody today to be sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on April 2.
He pleaded guilty to a total of nine charges, including two counts of oral rape, each reflecting three separate occasions.
Wager also admitted sexual assault, causing a child to engage in sexual activity, sexual activity with a child and three offences of making indecent photos of children, some at Category A, the worst level of seriousness.
Judge Jonathan Rose withdrew Wager’s bail, telling him: “You are facing a very long sentence of imprisonment.”
The judge said he feared Wager might not come back to court to be sentenced if he was at liberty and what might happen to him if he was admitted to bail.
He ordered a report from the probation service to address the question of the level of danger Wager poses to young children.
Medical reports will also be prepared for the sentencing hearing.
Wager was ordered to sign on the sex offender register when he got to the cells.
