BRADFORD Speakers Club won two prizes at an Association of Speakers Clubs awards ceremony over the weekend.
It claimed both a team and an individual prize at the Dales Topics Impromptu Speech Competition, held in Bramhope, on 15 February.
The Baildon-based club aims to improve its members' public speaking skills, whether for work, social or self-improvement reasons.
The club will host its next meeting at Baildon Hall Club on 26 February, at 7.30pm, with beginners welcome.
The Baildon and Shipley Afternoon Speakers Club also meets at 1.30pm on the second Tuesday of every month, at Bradford New Church, Frizinghall, and is also welcoming of new members, regardless of ability.
