THERE have been three arrests for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol in the Shipley area in just two days.
In a lunchtime arrest this Monday, police arrested an 18-year-old man, who was driving a black Suzuki scooter, for drug driving.
The force executed a stop and search for drugs on Leeds Road, Shipley, where a roadside drug wipe showed evidence of cannabis use.
He has been reported pending blood results.
Shortly after, Operation Steerside officers arrested a man in an orange Vauxhall Mokka for drink driving.
He was caught on Main Street in Bingley and was later charged after he reportedly blew 104 - three times the legal limit - in custody.
Meanwhile patrol officers arrested a 40-year-old in Windhill for drink driving today.
He was charged after he blew 79 in custody, making him two times over the legal limit.
