A paint reuse project has saved 150,000 litres of paint going to landfill during the past six years.
Community RePaint Bradford, based in Manningham Lane, is part of a national network that collects unwanted paint and redistributes it to the community, voluntary sector and individuals in need.
It is one of the largest projects in the UK, collecting 1,800 litres a month.
Bettina Croft, personal training adviser at Bradford City Centre Project, said: "Community RePaint Bradford is invaluable to us.
"The young people who we help would not be able to afford to buy brand new paint and encouraging them to paint their own accommodation gives them a sense of ownership."
