Firefighters were called to a freak accident in which a man trapped his foot between a car door and a gatepost.
The 35-year-old had got out of his car but had forgotten to apply the handbrake and the car started to roll down a hill.
The man tried to climb back in to the car but the door closed behind him, hit him on the head and trapped his foot.
His foot then became trapped between the door and a stone gate post, where the car stopped.
Firefighters from Rawdon managed to free the man at around 10.15pm last night, at Crow Trees Park, and he was taken to hospital.
