A WOMAN pedestrian was taken to hospital following a collision with a bus in Bradford city centre.
Members of the public scrambled to help the woman on the pavement outside The Queen pub, Bridge Street, near the Bradford Interchange.
One onlooker said they had seen a woman "screaming on the floor".
A learner First Bus had come to a halt a little further ahead.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said the woman had sustained aleg injury following what appeared to be a collision involving a bus.
A spokesperson for First Bradford said: "We can confirm that a training bus was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Bridge Street in Bradford this afternoon.
"The police and an ambulance attended the scene as did a member of the Bradford depot management team.
"A woman was taken to hospital for treatment and we wish her a speedy recovery.
"Our driver and the instructor were unhurt and followed company procedure in making sure the injured person received prompt medical attention."
