A MAN has been robbed of his BMW at gunpoint in an armed hold-up in a Bradford Morrisons car park.
The man was parked at the Thornbury supermarket on Rushton Avenue this morning when a witness said he was approached by three men with a weapon.
The witness said he saw an altercation and then the car being driven off at high speed.
A police spokesperson confirmed that armed officers responded to the incident which was reported at 8.42am.
He said a handgun was reported seen and that the stolen vehicle had been found.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and paramedics treated the victim who is believed to have been hit with the weapon.
Another eye witness said she saw the ambulance arrive at the scene.
She said a large area was cordoned off by police.
The police spokesperson said inquiries were ongoing at the scene.
