EMERGENCY services have blocked a major route into the city centre after a man was involved in a collision with a bus.
Police were called to Manchester Road at 3.23pm by ambulance teams, who are currently treating a young man in his 20s.
A police spokesperson confirmed the injuries to be serious.
The air ambulance was called to the scene as well as a number of emergency vehicles.
Smashed glass can be seen in the road near an X63 bus.
Two police officers could be seen boarding the bus after the incident, before all passengers got off the bus.
People are also being led off several buses stuck in the queue up Manchester Road.
Bradford Council has warned of severe traffic delays that will affect the city centre during rush hour on Manchester Road, Croft Street, Senior Way and Hall Ings.
Due to a serious traffic incident at the junction of Manchester Rd and Croft St requiring the air ambulance, there are severe delays expected across the evening rush hour. There are currently heavy delays on Manchester Road, Croft Street, Senior Way and Hall Ings.

Buses are blocking the Manchester Road guideway, and services are affected by the traffic congestion.

Due to a RTC at Manchester road and Guideway the exit at Bottom section is blocked. Services operating via Guideway will operate on main Carriage way.
