Baildon Players' next production is Lend me a Tenor, a comedy set in the world of opera.
The West End hit comedy, by Ken Ludwig, revolves around a charity concert in Cleveland, Ohio. Il Stupendo' Tito Merelli, the greatest tenor of his generation, arrives late and through a hilarious series of mishaps falls into a drunken stupor and is presumed dead.
Confusion follows when two swooning females, a volatile Italian wife and an outrageous bellhop are added to the mix.
Lend Me A Tenor runs at St John's Church Hall, Baildon, from Monday until Saturday. Tickets are available at Adress, Browgate, Baildon.
