ANOTHER man has been arrested as part of a major operation to tackle 'county lines' drug dealing between Bradford and Harrogate.

A series of early morning raids were carried out across Bradford as part of Operation Jackal. 

The teams, including detectives, specialist search-trained police officers, police dog handlers, digital forensic investigators and financial investigators, swooped on the homes in the Canterbury, Denholme, Undercliffe and Wibsey areas.

Five men aged 20, 37, 29, 26, and 22 from Bradford were arrested. 

During the operation officers recovered suspected class A drugs including heroin and cocaine in the form of numerous wraps and a package, a total of £3,000 in cash from across the properties, a machete, 20 mobiles phones and suspected drugs paraphernalia including scales and deal bags.  

Another man, aged 28 and from Bradford, was arrested this morning and is currently in police custody for questioning.

Of the five men arrested yesterday, three aged 26, 20 and 29 have been released on bail to allow further enquiries to be carried out.

The two aged 37 and 22 have been released while under investigation.
