THE MUSLIM Women’s Council is launching its bereavement support service for women this Thursday.
Those dealing with grief, loneliness and loss can meet others, share experiences and chat in a confidential, safe space.
Nicola Clarke, bereavement support practitioner at Child Bereavement UK, said: “Our vision is for all families to have the support they need to rebuild their lives, when a child grieves or when a child dies. This is a wonderful opportunity to reach families that need bereavement support.”
The session is for women only, and will be hosted by a bereavement support practitioner at Carlisle Business Centre between 10am-12pm. To attend or for more information, call 01274 223230 or email directorsoffice@muslimwomenscouncil.org.uk
