CITY claimed a comeback win in the cold over Stevenage last night, their first victory since New Year’s Day and the Bantams army couldn’t be happier.

A Shay McCartan double and a strike from Lee Novak were enough to see City recover from being 1-0 down to take all three points with a great second half showing.

It was Stuart McCall’s first triumph in his third spell in charge and fans also had plenty of praise for striker Novak, who scored his second in two games.

Jimmy G: “Bring on Cambridge away.”

Rich Ellershaw: “The work rate and commitment from Jake Reeves was outstanding. His drive and willingness to support Connelly and just missing out on a diving header and ending up in the back of the net. Then picking himself up and sprinting back into position. Phenomenal performance.”

Cameron Geoff Chapman: “Best 2nd half performance I’ve seen for a long time.”

Have Bradford City Won Today?: “YEEEEEESSSSSS, We’ve just dragged ourselves out the boozer, a wins a win! GET IN CITYYYYY!”

Keith Wildman: “Seems crazy that this team are doing the same, if not better than the 2013 team of Hanson, Wells, Jones, Meredith, Reid, McArdle, Davies etc. That team would be running away with this division. Frustrating we’ve made such hard work of it when the standard is so poor.”

Bantams Heritage: “Novak is aiming for a record which is over 50 years old at Cambridge on Saturday.

“Nobody has scored in their first three #bcafc games since 1968, when Tony Leighton scored four times in his first three matches in claret and amber.”

Andrew Collinson: “I'm a happy Bantam tonight. That second half was the best 45 minutes I've seen in at least 2 years; coincidentally since McCall was last in charge.”

Mark Swires: "I was calling for McCartan to come off at half time. Great response by all. Superb 2nd half. Roll on Cambridge Saturday."

Steven Horsfall: “Wonder if its worth trying Novak & McCartan upfront on Saturday? Both seemed confident with the ball at their feet.”

Louise Hayton: “Bloody cold down at the Valley of Dreams, but great to feel the win!! FINALLY!! #bcafc”

Alastair: “City have seen a more attacking aspect with 16 corners and 29 shots within two games.

“The previous four games as seen 25 shots, twelve corners. Can Stuart take #bcafc to another play-off campaign? Let’s wait and see.”
