MOTORISTS on the M62 are being warned to slow down around junction 23 due to snow and strong winds in the area.
Highways England tweeted that there was a sprinkling of snow around the Scammonden Dam area, advising drivers to take care on their travels.
In addition matrix signs were set to 40mph between junctions 23 and 21 westbound due to the strong winds and between junctions 23 and 22 due to the snow.
