17-year-old boy charged for assaulting Bingley security guard
A 17-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged for assaulting a security worker in Bingley.
The teenager is accused of assaulting a security guard at the 5 Rise shopping complex in December last year.
It is in connection with reports of anti-social behaviour in the town.
Sergeant Terri Green said the assault is "not acceptable".
The officer said: "We work alongside security in Bingley and fully support them in their role.
"Assaulting or abusing them is them is not acceptable.
"A number of ASB sanctions have been given relating to youths identified in the ASB and there are more to be served."
