A ROAD in Bradford is closed this morning after a car overturned.

Valley View Grove is shut at its junction with Idle Road.

Traffic is being turned around. 

A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said it involved one vehicle, which had hit a parked car and then overturned.

A woman in the car, thought to be in her 30s, was trapped and had to be freed by firefighters.

She was taken to hospital for a precautionary check-up. 

Firefighters from Bradford, Shipley and Cleckheaton attended.
