A FAMILY was rescued from a house in the early hours of the morning after a kitchen fire.
Firefighters from Bingley, Shipley and Keighley were called to Tundra Grove, Gilstead, just before 1am.
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said a pan had been left on the hob and started to smoke.
Smoke alarms fitted in the house alerted the family who raised the alarm with the fire service.
A hose reel and positive pressure fans were used to put the fire out and two people were taken to hospital for a precautionary check-up due to smoke inhalation.
