The dates are set for the most prestigious title in pool will be contested on Friday between 11am and 4pm and 6pm to 11pm; Saturday: 10am to 4pm and 8.30pm and 11.30pm and Sunday: 1pm to 5pm and 8.30pm to 11.30pm.

Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at Alhambra Theatre - Friday and Saturday

The world-famous musical ends its technicolour run at the Alhambra Theatre this weekend.

Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph, this production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic features songs including Go, Go, Go Joseph, Any Dream Will Do, Jacob and Sons, Close Every Door To Me.

Show times are: Friday: 5pm and 7.30pm starts and Saturday: 2pm, 5pm and 7.30pm.

Yorkshire Games Festival at National Science and Media Museum - until Sunday

A five-day event, which started on Wednesday, celebrating games culture, design and production, with special guests, workshops, master classes, and a fun-packed weekend for gamers.

The Let’s Play! weekend features gameplay, activities and live shows. Visitors will have the chance to try out new games from Northern studios and play along in an interactive comedy show.

More than nine per cent of the UK games industry is based in Yorkshire and the Humber.

Saturday and Sunday's action will feature 'Discover Esports, where gamers will be given the chance to meet the British Esports Association, learn about the world of professional competitive gaming, and compete in a Rocket League tournament on the big screen. This will be held in the Museum's Pictureville Cinema both days between 10am and 4.30pm.

Eirik Svela - European Quartet at Bradford Latvian Club - Friday

Oslo-based, internationally renowned Jazz guitarist Eirik Svela will perform at the Clifton Villas, Bradford, venue from 8.30pm.

John Archer - Against the Odds at Studio Theatre Live Entertainment, Bradford - Friday

Semi-finalist on Britain’s Got Talent and support act for Tim Vine on seven UK tours, John Archer finally takes to the stage with his own one-man show.

People are guaranteed a night of magic and comedy. He was also the first man to fool Penn and Teller on ITV’s ‘Fool Us’ with Jonathan Ross and is a former winner of the prestigious Magic Circle Stage Magician of the Year.

The show starts at 8pm and tickets are priced £14.

Whitesnake UK at Nightrain - Friday

The tribute band to the 1980s rock group return to rock the Queensgate, Bradford, venue. They are guaranteed to play the hits including 'Here I Go Again' and 'In This Love?'.

The show will take place between 9pm and 11pm and are priced £7 to £10.

Winter Trees at Denso Marston Nature Reserve, Guided Walk - Saturday

This two-hour guided walk will give people the chance to idenfity some of the 44 species of trees on the reserve and we may see what lives on and around them.

Meet at the public footpath opposite the Otley Road, Baildon lay-by near St James Church at 10am. Free entry.

Good Vibrations - Classic Beach Boys at St George's Hall - Saturday

The English Philharmonic Orchestra plays the music of The Beach Boys - from their early surfin' days to the ground breaking Good Vibrations.

Riot Act at Bradford Playhouse - Saturday

Riot Act, a powerful verbatim play exploring the history of the LGBTQ rights movement.

Written and performed by Alexis Gregory, Riot Act is a solo show taking the audience through six decades of social history and change.

The show has been created from the playwright's interviews with Michael-Anthony Nozzi, one of the only remaining Stonewall survivors; Lavania Co-op, a 1970s radical drag artist; and Paul Burston, a prominent 1990s AIDS activist.

The show starts at 7.30pm with tickets priced £11 to £13.

Swing with the 309s at Bingley Arts Centre - Music - Jazz, Sat 8 Feb 2020

West Yorkshire five-piece band, the 309’s, bring the sounds of the ‘40s and ‘50s to Bingley Arts Centre for and evening of hot swing and jive.

The band play fiddle driven swing, boogie boogie and jump blues.

The show starts at 7.30pm with tickets priced £15.

Valentine's Hawaiian Hula Hop at Midland Hotel - Saturday

A taste of Hawaii will come to Bradford on Saturday night with music from DJ's the Maverick and Jiving Jeff in the Princes ballroom in the Midland Hotel Bradford.

TC and the Swingcats have also agreed to play.

Tim Shaw & Dirty Electronics at Fuse Art Space - Saturday

John Richards brings a performance of large-group electronic music and DIY electronics.

Tim Shaw is an artist working with sound, light and communication media. He presents his work through musical performances, installations and sound walks.

Nightrain - Scarlet Rebels/Revival Black at Nightrain - Saturday

Scarlet Rebels and Revival Black hit the Nightrain in Queensgate, Bradford. The show will take place between 9pm and 11pm, with tickets priced between £8 and £10.

West Side Story at Bingley Arts Centre - Sunday

West Side Story is the award-winning adaptation of the classic romantic tragedy, 'Romeo and Juliet'.

The feuding families become two warring New York City gangs - the white Jets led by Riff and the Puerto Rican Sharks, led by Bernardo.

The PG-rated movie is a community cinema event.

Food served at 1.30pm and the film starts at 2.30pm. The screening will include a short interval.

The Broadway are inviting you to share the love this Valentine’s Day with our ‘blooming’ lovely floral swing bench installation outside of Debenhams from February 9 to 15.

Flourishing City - Vision 2040 at Bradford Cathedral - Public Meeting - Sunday

A chance for Bradfordians to say how they would like how they would like Bradford to look in 2040.

This is part of a City Vision programme and the public's comments will be fed back to Bradford Council.

Kinky Boots: The Musical at Pictureville at National Science and Media Museum - Sunday

Inspired by true events, the musical goes from the factory floor of Northampton to the glamorous catwalks of Milan.

Filmed live for the cinema screen at the Adelphi Theatre, London in November 2018, the show will be screened at the Science and Media Museum from 1pm.
