A PLUMBER has been reunited with his tools after a police appeal last night.

West Yorkshire Police's Batley and Spen team put out a post on social media website, Facebook, at around 8.05pm yesterday.

It related to a selection of "plumber's tools" and two bags, which had been handed in by a member of the public to Halifax Police Station.

The items had been found in Cleckheaton.

The post said at the time: "As potentially someone's livelihood, we are keen to get these tools back where they belong.

"Along with the tools, other identifying items were located including a card machine.

"Any potential owners would be required to provide proof of ownership."

Batley and Spen then posted an update at around 9.01pm to say the owner had been found and had collected his tools after just 30 minutes.
