THREE female teenagers, aged between 14 and 15, have been arrested on suspicion of street robbery.

Officers were out on patrol in Bradford as part of Operation Jemlock - West Yorkshire Police's dedicated initiative focused on targeting knife and violent crime.

They spotted the three youths at around 11.49am.

A police spokesperson said: "Items of property stolen from the victim found in their possession.

"Statements taken and passed to district CID to progress."

The teens were taken into custody and it marked arrests number 2252, 2254 and 2255 since Operation Jemlock began in April 2019.

Just yesterday a 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and breaching a restraining order, as part of the operation.
