A DRIVER asked if the speed awareness course he had already booked would be affected when he was caught speeding...again.
The Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team caught the driver last night while carrying out speed checks on White Lee Road in Heckmondwike.
More than 43 vehicles were checked:
Three drivers recieved a ticket for speeds of 39mph, 39mph and 51 mph.
"One driver even asked if it would affect the speed awareness course he had just booked onto following a previous stop," a police spokesperson said.
"One ticket was also issued to a driver for no MOT."
Further checks are planned.
