ARRESTS have been made and vehicles seized in a police operation to crackdown on anti-social behaviour, nuisance drivers and drugs offences.
The Bradford West and Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPT) held the operation over the weekend in the Heaton and Bingley areas following community concern.
More than thirty vehicles were stopped for varying offences.
They included:
- Three arrests for drug related offences
- Five vehicles seized for having no insurance, with the drivers being reported to court.
- 16 drivers reported for traffic offences, including one driver travelling over 100mph.
A spokesperson said: "Numerous individuals and their vehicles were also stop-searched
"The success of this operation was due to the information provided to us by the members of the public.
"West Yorkshire police are committed to tackling criminality within our communities.
