A MALE seen trying door handles in Baildon has been arrested after being seen by "eagle-eyed" residents who called the police.
The incident was one of several that Sergeant Terri Green reported on over the weekend.
She tweeted: "So so proud of my Baildon community. Males seen trying door handles, eagle eyed residents ring it in, police attend and arrest the male."
She said Bradford CID are dealing with the case "so updates to follow".
Sgt Green also tweeted that she had come on duty to find six stop searches had been conducted on her patches of Bingley and Baildon on Saturday night for drugs and burglary offences.
She said arrests had been made: "Happy Ward Sgt - specific updates to follow".
And she reported that a 17-year-old was arrested for drug driving in Baildon on Saturday afternoon.
She added: "We suspect he is drug dealing. He was reported pending blood results."
