THE TEAM behind Wilsden In Bloom have organised a litter pick in the bid to be the most beautiful village of all.
Everyone is welcome to join in with the litter pick this Saturday, taking place between 10am and 2pm from the meeting point at the village hall.
Volunteers can enjoy free tea and coffee as well as drinks for the younger helpers.
Christine Schreck, the chairwoman of Wilsden in Bloom, hopes it will bring the community together.
She told the Telegraph & Argus: "It's just to tidy up the village and maybe, while picking up the litter, they could source places where we could plant some flowers and brighten up the village.
"We're trying to get the village together.
"If you could bring your own equipment, we will have some but we don't know if we have enough.
"We are doing it in aid of Wilsden in Bloom."
