THREE teenagers, including a 14-year-old, have been arrested following a police helicopter chase.
Officers on patrol first saw the youths at around 2am on Monday, January 27.
They were trying to break into a house in Mill Lane, Birkenshaw.
The officers disturbed the teenagers and they proceeded to run off.
Additional officers were called and the police helicopter was sent to the skies to help with the search.
A vehicle, stolen from Bradford, was discovered during the operation.
Officers then arrested a 17-year-old, from Bradford, a 14-year-old, from Birkenshaw, and a 19-year-old, from Leeds, on suspicion of car theft.
They were later charged with the offence and kept in police custody to appear in court on Tuesday morning.
A police spokesperson said: "Enquiries are ongoing into the Mill Lane offence, as well as several car break-ins."
