IT’S back to action for both Kirkby Lonsdale and Kendal on Saturday after a two week hiatus for both clubs.

And with the Six Nations Championship also kicking off this weekend, there’s a feast of rugby union for fans to look forward to.

Kirkby will be going all out to get their North Premier campaign back on track when they travel down the M6 to face fellow mid-table outfit Blackburn.

The heavy defeat to a powerful Macclesfield side at Underley Park in their last outing was a blow to the team’s ambitions and they will be anxious to erase the memories of that afternoon.

Kendal are also looking to get back to winning ways after they suffered that shock 34-14 North One East defeat at Percy Park a fortnight ago.

However, it will not be an easy task as they take on high flying Yorkshire outfit Morley.

Fans should note that the game kicks off at the new winter kick off time of 2.15pm and not 2pm as was the case in previous seasons.

Struggling Windermere travel to Barrow to take on Hawcoat Park in a Cumbria One clash.

Mere lie second from bottom and face a tough task against the mid-table Furness based side.
