THE NEW mental health charity formed to replace South Lakeland Mind is ready to launch.
MP Tim Farron, who was been heavily involved with the formation of the charity, which is to be called 'Well Minds,' said work in setting up the operation had gone well and it now had around nine trustees.
"It will focus on young people aged from 12 to 25," said the Westmorland and Lonsdale MP.
Mr Farron added that the new charity "should be up and running in the next month or so," but an exact launch date had yet to be set.
South Lakeland Mind, which was based at Stricklandgate House in Kendal, closed down in spring, 2019.
