LINE dancers in Kendal, Endmoor and Milnthorpe have raised a bumper £250 through raffles in support of Sandgate Hydrotherapy Pool.

A cheque for the money raised was presented to Colin Randshaw, chair of South Lakeland Hydrotherapy Trust who support the pool's work, by Ray Smith and Linda Pattinson, who are regular users of the pool and avid attendees at the Monday line dancing at the Ibis Sport and Social Club.

Mr Randshaw expressed his thanks on behalf of the charity at the ceremony and also spoke about the pool's history, and in return the dancers hit the floor with some of their favourite moves.

The line dancers are regular charity supporters, last year backing the 'Give Them a Break' appeal and in previous donating to First Responders, Air Ambulance North West and Sight Advice.
