Leaves are falling in their millions but the usual way of dealing with them - smoky bonfires - just causes lots of air pollution, especially on calm cold days, and wastes a useful organic resource.
Instead you could either let them rot down into leaf mould in a post and wire mesh container or save them until next spring or summer and mix them with rich green material such as grass clippings into your compost bin.
