BURGLARS broke into a charity shop in Orford at the weekend.
The St Rocco’s Hospice branch on Longford Street was targeted during the break-in at some point on Friday night or Saturday morning.
It is believed that a safe was taken by the offenders, although no cash had been left inside it.
Extensive damage was also caused inside the store.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “Officers received a report of a break-in at charity shop on Longford Street overnight on Friday, January 17.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish whether anything has been taken.”
