POPSTAR Zayn Malik may have hit the deadlines for being a spectator at Valley Parade on Saturday, but Bantams fans were more concerned about what happened on the pitch.
City surrendered a two-goal lead to The Iron after looking like they would grab the points thanks to first-half strikes from midfielder Hope Akpan and skipper James Vaughan.
But Scunthorpe fought back for a share of the spoils to leave City in fifth place in League Two.
City fans took to social media to express their views and here are a selection of them;
On Twitter, Nick (@Bantammanic) posted: “Part of me actually enjoyed watching Scunthorpe play today. Great passing, control and movement. How it should be.”
JF (@jon fozz) tweeted: “Challenging for promotion is supposed to be exciting, but a trip to watch #bcafc is worse than going to Ikea!”
The Bantam Face tweeted: “As negative as today’s tweets are. What a great moment seeing Andrew Davies on the #bcafc pitch again. Absolute warrior and insanely underrated. Love you Davo.”

Jason McKeown tweeted: “No away win since October. Just three wins in last 13 games. These stats must improve quickly.”
But Gary Bowyer was backed by some fans who saw the bigger picture.
Jack Walker tweeted: “Although it’s frustrating, sacking the manager would be the wrong thing to do, remember what happened last time we sacked a manager in the play-offs. He should get the rest of this season and promotion is still a real possibility.”
Leon Hobbes tweeted: “We’d have lost that last year.”
Kris Bell: “Vaughan suspended just in time for Donaldson to come back. Be nice to see how Donaldson and Doyle work as a pair.”
But the final word must go to former One Direction member Malik, who watched Saturday’s game and was also received a City orange third jersey from Clayton Donaldson, with Zayn 12 on the back of it.
Malik posted on Instagram; ‘Unlucky today lads, Thanks for the shirt”.
🙌 | Great to have @zaynmalik down at the @UtilitaEnergy Stadium, this afternoon!
