THE M62 is to be closed overnight next month to enable bridge inspection and routine maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
Highways England is introducing the traffic order.
It says the works are due to be carried out on the westbound carriageway from the exit slip road to the entry slip road at junction 26 for Chain Bar and on the eastbound carriageway from the exit slip road to the entry slip road at junction 25 for Brighouse.
The motorway will be closed between 8pm on Tuesday, February 11, and 4am the next day and between the same hours on Thursday, February 13, to Friday, February 14.
During the closures suitably signed alternative routes will be available at all times.
Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions.
