Bradford has said a fond farewell to a highly-respected police officer following her retirement.
Muslim Women’s Council hosted a celebration of PC Firzana Ahmed's achievements over her past 30 years in the police force.
Many tributes were paid to Fiz for the work she has done and the impact it has made on many communities in Bradford.

Inspector Kevin Taylor said at the event: "It’s been a pleasure and exceptional learning experience to have had the honour to serve alongside Fiz, she is truly an inspiration and will be very much missed by all of us. Khuda Hafiz (May God protect you)".
Michelle Taylor, People Can Coordinator at Bradford Council, made a heartfelt tribute.
She said: "Fiz, you have always been an inspiration and you really changed my views and perceptions of the police when I first met you. I hope the legacy you leave in Bradford lives on."
Bana Gora, CEO of Muslim Women’s Council, said "Fiz has always been a ‘force’ to be reckoned with- providing much needed support and advice to communities."
She also commended Fiz on her participation in a cancer awareness event inspiring women to become more aware and get tested, all whilst she was undergoing cancer treatment herself.
Fiz made a successful recovery and went on to receive the Queens Police Medal for her service.
