A ROW over a post on Facebook between two woman led to one of them receiving a broken arm after being hit by a 'to let' sign post.
Bradford Crown Court heard Leonie Phillips had been in months of conflict with a woman who used to have a relationship with Michael Duncan.
Because of the dispute Duncan went to Ms Phillips's home armed with a crowbar and asked her to take the post down.
She refused and told him to go and he left saying he would come back.
The court was told she met the other woman on a later date to try and sort out the issue.
The meeting on February 6, 2019, became heated and Duncan, who was among those present, grabbed a 'to let' sign and swung the post at Ms Phillips's head.
She put her arm up but was hit and felt the bone break. She needed to have an operation on the fracture and it became infected.
Duncan, 33, of Shetcliffe Lane, Bierley, admitted assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.
Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC said Duncan had suffered from a sudden loss of temper.
He added that he had a very bad criminal record and sentenced him to 15 months on top of a 32-month sentence he is currently serving.
