POLICE caught two drug dealers in the act in Pudsey last night.
Two men were arrested in Queens Park after locals reported their suspicions to the Leeds West force.
The arrests come at a time when West Yorkshire Police is reminding the public that there's 'no call too small' to be used as community intelligence.
Inspector Phil Gill, the neighbourhood policing team inspector for inner and outer West Leeds, said: "If it's suspicious report it. We would rather turn up and find an early milkman than you don't call us and we miss out."
The inspector had put an extra sergeant and eight PCs on duty dedicated to catching burglars and thieves last night.
He put out an appeal for residents to report suspicious behaviour to help catch more criminals.
He said: "I couldn't have asked for more from my cops. I hope it's worked and you're waking up to find your cars still on the drive and garages intact. However, if you are unfortunate to have been a victim of crime, please do call us to report it. Same again tonight."
