POLICE tracking down a wanted man believe he could have travelled from Scunthorpe to West Yorkshire.

 James Crossley, 34, is wanted in connection with incidents involving common assault, coercive control theft of a motor vehicle and failing to appear in court.

PC Scott Belton from Humberside Police's criminal investigation department said: “We are keen to locate James Crossley in connection with numerous offences including coercive control and assault. 

“We have carried out extensive enquiries to locate him, including identifying his known associates and making contact with them and carrying out searches at various addresses.

“We have recently received information to suggest that he may have travelled to West Yorkshire and I am today appealing for the public’s help in attempting to locate him."
