A CRIMINAL was left humiliated after failing to escape police and falling over in mud twice.
Police tracked down the man in Ravenscliffe this morning for a drugs offence in North Yorkshire but, when he realised who was knocking on the door, he jumped out of an upstairs bedroom window.
Wearing only a pair of shorts, he attempted to run away from police officers but was left covered in mud after slipping twice.
A spokesperson for the Bradford East force said: "He was not successful. And unfortunately for him, in his haste to escape, he fell over twice and is now covered in mud.
"At least the custody area has shower facilities!"
