Foxhill Primary School has received funding from housebuilder Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire, after it gifted them £1,000 to help maintain its brass band.
It is part of Persimmon's Community Champions scheme, where its regional businesses choose two groups to benefit from a donation.
Sally Hey, headteacher, said: "Learning to play an instrument is a rewarding skill, which our pupils fully embrace, but its continuation is reliant on donations. We are very grateful to Persimmon Homes as their support will enable us to continue our brass band."
Simon Whalley, sales director at Persimmon, said: "It is our pleasure to donate £1,000 to Foxhill and we wish them success in the future."
