PLANS to revamp a bank building in Brighouse have been approved.
The scheme for a new shopfront at Santander on Commercial Street was submitted to Calderdale Council in November.
The firm's plans involve cladding the existing brickwork columns in polished granite, as well as installing new signage.
The scheme also includes a new floor-mounted 46 inch digital advertising TV screen to be installed inside and able to be viewed through the branch’s large window.
The shop front frames are to be re-sprayed grey, as well as the side door. The existing ATM will be kept, and a new post box installed.
A new rear fire exit door and access ladder will also be added.
