POLICE are appealing for information after armed robbers threatened shop workers with an axe and baseball bat in Heckmondwike.
The incident took place at about 12.30pm yesterday (Friday, January 10) when two males entered the premises in Albion Street.
Around £9,000 in cash was taken, as well as a silver Rolex watch and a black and gold Mont Blanc pen.
The force has pinpointed two suspects - both white, around 5ft 8inches tall with a local accent.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may recognise these males, or anyone who saw their vehicle, a navy blue Nissan Primera, in the area at the time.
