A NEW Bradford charity shop is appealing for donations in the wake of its grand opening on Monday.
A new British Heart Foundation will open at number 47 on Kirkgate, and will be its third branch to open in the city centre, accompanying the Westgate and Northgate branches.
On Monday, it will host an opening ceremony to mark the occasion.
A spokesperson from the new branch is appealing to the public for donations, saying, "We welcome clothing, shoes, handbags, bric-a-brac and kids' toys amongst other donations.
"It's been a long process setting up, but now we're moving forward and it's also nice for Bradford as a city.
"All the donations we get go back out into research and funding into fighting heart and circulatory diseases."
