Careers Bradford has been nominated for a major award after helping nearly 200 young people change their lives.
The organisation is in the running for the St Stephen's Hull Partnership Innovation Award at The Prince's Trust's Celebrate Success ceremony in Leeds later this month.
Careers Bradford has worked with The Trust for the past three years, running a range of the charity's programmes which give hands-on work experience to young, unemployed people.
In the past year 120 young people in West Yorkshire have been inspired to go on to further education or employment as a result of the joint work by the two organisations. The involvement of major companies has resulted in work placements and full time employment for many of the young people taking part.
Janet Faulkner, project co-ordinator at Careers Bradford, said: "We're delighted to be nominated for this award.
"Our involvement with the Prince's Trust has meant we have been able to support many local young people from underprivileged backgrounds."
