A LEEDS woman is appealing to the public after her dog went missing in Bradford on New Year's Day.

Marlene Faria was on holiday in Portugal while her dog, Snoopy, stayed at her friend's house in Tyersal.

But after 1pm on January 1, Snoopy disappeared from the house, just off Dick Lane. Marlene has now cut her holiday short after the news, and says she is "absolutely heartbroken".

Snoopy is of the Lagotto Romagnolo breed, described as cream in colour, and has a white line stretching from his chin to his stomach. He has a skin condition that means he has "black, patchy dry skin that affects his back legs and under his stomach", Marlene says.

She describes Snoopy as a "very nervous dog" and says she "just wants him home".
