A BREWERY has produced a special ale to mark a milestone.

Bridgehouse Brewery’s 10 Years tipple celebrates a decade of production.

The Keighley firm began with a small-scale brew kit but soon outgrew that and acquired the equipment and premises of the Old Bear Brewery.

Growth continued and Bridgehouse acquired its first pub, the Airedale Heifer at Sandbeds.

Following a refurbishment of the pub in 2015, a bespoke new brewhouse was built in the grounds.

“Ten years is a huge milestone for any company and we are all very excited,” said brewery manager, James Kelly.

“We are very thankful for our wonderful customers – who buy our beer week in week out – and to our members of staff, who tirelessly dedicate themselves to ensuring customers only ever receive the high level of quality we have become known for. We’ve big plans for the future – here’s to the next ten years!”

The anniversary brew will be available to buy from the brewery from Friday.
