THE T&A's sports editor Mike Crowther steps into the breach for Mr Parker this week, and discusses the vital switch from 5-3-2 to 4-4-2 for City in the second half against Morecambe.

A self-confessed City fan, Mike admits that he would like to see more attractive football from Gary Bowyer's men, but understands that substance over style can get you a long way in "ugly" League Two.

Eoin Doyle is the top scorer in English League football, but his goals are coming for City's next opponents Swindon, rather than for the Bantams themselves.

Mike says the situation is becoming a bit "nonsensical", with the realistic prospect of a Bradford City player having a huge hand in denying his parent club promotion.

Swindon will not have Doyle available tomorrow though due to the terms of his loan agreement, but Mike has warned of the dangers of his fellow forward Jerry Yates, the second top-scorer in League Two.
