BRADFORD’S fostering families were treated to a special showing of the movie Spies in Disguise at Cineworld in Bradford.

Hundreds of foster families from across the Bradford district enjoyed a festive holiday treat last week with an exclusive showing of the new comedy movie.

Bradford Council’s fostering service teamed up with Cineworld to organise an exclusive showing of the movie as a treat for Bradford’s children who are looked after.

The families took over one of the largest screens at Cineworld to enjoy the treat together.

'It's so fulfilling' says Bradford foster mum, as Barnardo's appeals for more carers

Councillor Adrian Farley, Bradford Council's portfolio holder for families and children, said: “By organising treats like this, we hope to give something back to our foster families. Our foster carers are exceptional people who provide an invaluable service, giving stable and supportive homes to children in care.

"We have an on-going commitment to helping them achieve the best outcomes for the children they look after, as well as recognising that they are an integral part of our team.

“Christmas can often be a difficult time for children who are in care so we are extremely grateful to Cineworld for helping to provide this amazing experience for these children.”
