TRIBUTES have been paid to a Bradford man whose body was found in a disused bank in Batley.

Three people were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder after Asghar Badshah, 39, was found dead inside the old Yorkshire Bank.

He was reported missing on December 4, but was found when police forced entry to the building on Commercial Street on Sunday. 

It has since emerged Mr Badshah was a bus driver for First.

Paul Atkinson, Operations Manager for First in Halifax said:"Everyone at First in Halifax is deeply shocked and saddened at the death of Asghar. Our sympathies and condolences go to his family and friends at this terrible time.

"He only joined us as a driver in February last year and was a well-liked and popular colleague among the whole team."

Many others have taken to social media to pay their own tribute to Mr Badshah, who also went by the name Oscar.

Marie Lancaster wrote on the Telegraph & Argus Facebook page: "Omg I can’t believe this he was a lovely guy met him on a few occasions ❤️ RIP ❤️."

While Sanika Litisha Hussain added: "Omg so sad, R.I.P Oscar. Defo was a good guy, cant believe it 💔."

Harjot Singh wrote: "He was a top lad. Rip Oscar."

And Sharon Priestley said: "😭😭 Thoughts with the family at this difficult time. RIP and fly high with your angel wings."

Two men aged 27 and 30, as well as a 41-year-old woman were arrested.

Both men have been released under investigation and the woman is on bail pending further enquiries.
