THE BRITISH Heart Foundation (BHF) are appealing for people to donate any unwanted Christmas gifts to them, rather than let them go to waste.
Inevitably, some Christmas gifts received this year may be confined to the cupboard or atop a dusty shelf, but the BHF insist that donations will assist them in their fight against heart and circulatory diseases.
Allison Swaine-Hughes, Retail Director at the BHF, said, "We love the gifts you don't - if you want to donate a gift or cut down the clutter after the festive season, then just drop your donations in at your local BHF shop or take advantage of our free collection service. Your quality items will be saved from landfill and help us raise funds for vital research into heart and circulatory diseases."
