Bradford City's women had a day to remember as four teams ran in 40 goals between them without reply.

The first team have had a difficult time over the past month, with four successive defeats, but they bounced back in style to crush Hull City 8-0 at Thackley.

This leaves City just three points behind second-placed Rochdale in the Northern Combination with a game in hand. Leaders Curzon Ashton are well clear with a 100 per cent record from 11 games.

Abigail Garland opened the scoring and set up Aimee Driver for a second goal, with Driver and Amy Parker making it 4-0 by the interval.

Driver and Parker both went on to complete hat-tricks in the second half, with substitute Yasmin Ayub also on target.

City's A team maintained their perfect record in the West Riding League with a 9-0 win over Huddersfield Town that keeps them well clear at the top of the Premier Division.

Only a Clare Fawcett strike separated the sides at the interval but an injury to the Town keeper then opened the floodgates.

Emmie Kinnear opened her account for the season with four goals and Claire Popplewell (2), Nicky Davies and Olivia Duxbury completed the rout.

The under-14s were 4-0 winners at Farsley Celtic thanks to a Chelsea Morton hat-trick and Josie Bower.

And the under-12s enjoyed a 19-0 romp at Middleton as Lavinia White (9), Georgia Clipson (8), Rosie McDonnell and Natasha Wilkinson hit the target.
